Model 1865 Christopher Roby Chelmsford US Cavalry Sword

 

Model 1865 Cavalry Sword - The 35" blade maker marked with C. Roby W. Chelmsford Mass and dated US/1865/AGM. Original leather grip & wire good overall showing honest age and wear, handle has a crack in wood. Blade appears to have been sharpened, but is in very good overall condition for age. Pommel inspected with the letter M, leather washer intact. Scabbard good condition, shows age with light pitting.
